Pangera e.V. was founded as an initiative of the Marseille-based association Une Terre Culturelle. These are Germany-wide partnerships that have been established in the course of the association’s many years of international youth work. Une Terre Culturelle has supported and guided these smaller local actors from the very beginning, in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of exchange programs. Due to the success of many youth exchanges and multiplicators seminars and the increasing demand for youth mobility projects in the recent years, we and our colleagues from Une Terre Culturelle have decided to found Pangera e.V. For us, this foundation not only serves to formalise an existing Germany-wide network of youth welfare institutions, but also it is also a concrete strategy to overcome the hurdles that arise when international youth work is opened up to diverse social groups in an integration and inclusion-friendly way.
The members and supporters of Pangera work hand in hand with the association Une Terre Culturelle in view of strengthening Franco-German cooperation and the concrete implementation of the “Diversity & Participation” strategy of the Franco-German Youth Office.
